Graphic design and illustration are separate mediums but often overlap. Most of my designs begin on paper. I got into the field of graphic design because of my fine art skills. I love drawing and painting and have found that these skills often balance the colder world of graphic design beautifully. When doing an illustration, I like to visualize and create mockup sketches and then work on a final. Embracing each eraser mark as another layer of complexity that it brings to the work to life.
