Hello
I am Kaitlin Mitchell
I grew up in the middle of nowhere in VERY rural USA. I am talking farm, 4-H, and Sunday's at church. Don't think for one minute that means I have a small-minded vision, just the opposite is true. Growing up there gave me space to let every idea grow as big as I could get it. I could roam and use any medium I wanted, make a mess, and authentically use my imagination. Most importantly, I learned that anything worth having is worth working hard to obtain.
When I attended college, I was originally not an art major. My calling quickly found me when I won
a college-wide drawing contest. I then changed my major and threw myself into the art world. Since school, I have moved to the city, evolved my spaces, and grown my skills. I love all things design, fashion, beauty, pop culture, and yes, I still love agriculture (check out all those cows ha). I believe that good design and good art can transcend any medium. Good art and design allow the art to connect with the consumer, to speak to them on a level that doesn't need to rely on copy or instructions. Good art is intuitive and I can tell those visual stories for you as well.
